Which fuel do you guys use?

Apologies to DM then. I wasn't thinking of Brabus units.

Very little momentum around here too got 2 massive Tescos near me neither of them stock it if they did I would use it as it's really good fuel originally developed for a race series Nearest Momentum is 7 miles away on a route I never use so not much point when I got v power and BP Ultimate within 2 miles

Didn't realise we were spoiled here. Have tried both Momentum and V Power in my A45 and can't tell any difference other than Momentum being cheaper. Just stuck another £66 worth in it tonight

I don't buy petrol at supermarkets because there are none close to me and I don't drive to supermarkets in general. I usually buy Shell V-Power or whatever is on the route when I have to top up.

In case of my SLK, I think 90% of diesel was bought abroad, mainly France or near Antwerp. That's my standard stop on the route to UK. There were times when I didn't go to UK petrol station for months.

I am part of the minority who uses standard Shell petrol.

That's a bit silly.

It will cost you more per mile and you will loose around 30bhp on the E55.

I think Momentum is excellent.

122p yesterday with some clubcard discount :-)

For my R172 SLK55 it's always Vpower or Momentum........always the best performance for this car and my previous Honda S2000.

Only had the car 3 weeks. Picked up from the Wirral and drove down to Ashford, Kent. Stuck to motorways and 70-ish on cruise.

Couldn't believe the economy ........ 31.3 mpg, fill-up to fill-up. Computer said over 32 mpg. Shell V-Power. W215 Cl600 biturbo.

Getting around 20mpg locally on 98RON from local supermarket - nearest Shell garage is half an hour away in rural France!

Guess I'm driving like an old fart but that should pass as the "baby" gets older.

Honest John always recommends Shell V-Power and reckons 7-9% mpg increase.

I usually try and fill up at Tesco with Momentum 99 octane or Shell V-Power, if I'm on my way to Aberdeen (nearest Shell station is 16 miles from me).

If I'm out and about with not enough fuel to get to a Tesco or Shell station (easily done in a C63), I only put enough in to get me to one.

My nearest shell garage is around 8 miles away. What other fuel is 98ron??

Closest to 98 Ron is Tesco Momentum 99Ron and Esso97 (Premium unleaded)
