lock

I have 3 button key fob One for opening - One for closing - One for the boot. Pressing the button to lock the car will not lock but however when I manually lock the car the fob will open and it also works for the boot. Any ideas ? :confused:

I have a problem with my w202 Benz..... I had removed the fuse at the trunk.... Fuse no 3,4,5 ... After trasaembling them.... My central lock stopped working... Does anyone have a solution??

Central locking went today due to flat battery. Tried to open the door manually using the key within the fob. Strange thing was there is no locking mechanism within the part were you put the key in. The key turns both directions freely. Is this normal for a Mercedes. Mine is a R class.

Hi,looking for drawing or info on how to replace the white plastic air driven actuator for the tailgate lock. Actuator hissing untill lock opens or closes seems to cause lag for filler flap motions. Trying to resolve headlamp levelling which is not working.

Hi, When I lock the car with the key fob, the rear side sliding doors will not lock. I can lock them manually via hand from inside by pushing down plunger, and they will unlock via key fob fine. I have cleaned all contacts and pins on doors. Any ideas pls? Thanks Viano 2008 (W639)
