Just taken a look at the '03 E55 (135K miles) ; I'd forgotten the Valeo radiator issue when I bought it. The radiator on it has the same claw-style fastening for the plastic end tanks as the Valeo, but the metal claws are about twice as wide as those of the Valeo in a picture I found on this...
