Dipping out of work early today to go home and wash the car.. Weather has cleared up and the forecast looks promising using the dashboard weather forecaster on my iMac.

Leaving early tomorrow morning, but it's only like a 3 hour drive for me.

Why wash

was going to wash mine too but then thought "why bother? with 3 hours driving its bound to get dirty and the front pads will do their best to put brake dust over the alloys".

Quite sad really that I am seriously considering taking a damp cloth to wipe them just before arriving . Perhaps I am hoping no one will notice the 'battle scars' its still carrying.

Hi gang,

Not been on the forum for a while as I've been busy moving house recently, and work has had me to-ing and fro-ing between here and Norway over the past few weeks.

But I've not forgotten about you, or about the GTG, and I'll be setting off from Bedford later this afternoon. I'll see if I can get to Torquay any earlier than I managed last year. (It was around 10 p.m., IIRC... )

I'm staying at the Rainbow, so I expect I'll see some of you there tonight. Failing that, I'll be at John's tomorrow.

Scumbag is allegedly walking around in circles muttering, "Where's fat boy?" I have no idea what he means but he is clearly missing someone.

Hopefully this blooming sea mist will burn through and the sun will beam down upon the gathering of the pilgrims.

Sorry I couldn't make this one John and co. It's a bit annoying since I originally couldn't get the time off. Obviously since it's work everything changes on a weekly basis and am now twiddling thumbs at home in Bristol... but couldn't get a room at the Rainbow at such short notice!
