Confusing 300 CE LHD Twin Turbo NR

No just the same as a 5 speed box. Piece of cake really, no more than 2 hours start to finish.

Just been reading Ady's and your work on his car with great interest, some lovely work and dedication there. Am I leeting myself in for a big headache with this? I mean, can it just be the swap that I'm thinking it is, and as its not a 5sp auto there wont be as much dah upheaval in the process? My 300ce seems really solid and I love it, and would think a great sleeper with TT 24v under the hood.

And some chance of recovering costs from moving on the LHD ce later. Going to see what Olliver thinks about it..

call me in the morning on 01772 681210 I think we need a little discussion lol

Going from a 300 to a 300-24 is not as easy as it might seem. I know Ady had a problem with his and it wouldnt go past 5000 rpm, and I dont think he every got it resolved, he just went and bought a 300-24. If you do go for it, make sure you go in eyes wide open.

If you have the donor car complete the swap is very very simple...Can't really go wrong.
Even putting a 300-24v into a 2.6 190E is a very straightforward swap as conversions go.

Don't forget this a non runner and the headgasket went 18+ months ago. If water has been sat inside the bores then the engine might be scrap.

Good point that, and too much to gamble on I think, would be a fun project, but could be big problems... Gonna pass I think.
