Do these wheels/tyres fit?? Read this first! Offset/fitment answers within..

I have four AMG II's 18" X 8" ET31.

My S210 has standard sports chassis.

Tyre size specified is 235/40/18. Can I use 245/40/18?

TIA.

Paul.

17" AMG Wheels from a 2009 (W204) to fit a 2007 Vito

Anyone know if my 17" AMG (17 x 7.5 and 17 x 8.5) Wheels from a 2009 C320 CDI (W204) will fit a 2007 Vito Van. I'm looking to sell them but it will be difficult to try them on the van before the sale.
Cheers

W203 C class will these fit

I've checked the Alloywheelsdirect website and can't find the wheels listed that I've been offered. I'm not too sure about how offsets work, so was hoping someone who does could tell me if these would fit my car.

Fronts 8JX18 H2 ET45
Rears 9JX18 H2 ET54

I currently have 17" wheels, on a 2006 W203 C220CDI with sport pack brakes.

With those offsets, no

8" up Front and 9" up the rear are pretty similar to what i have on my w203 coupe, and those are ET35 offsets, and with 8.5 up front i had to fit 5mm spacers to clear the suspension, with 45's you have got to be looking at 10mm spacers i would have thought, although that 1/2 inch difference will change the requirements i'm sure.
The rears, again, i have 1/2 wider, and ET35 offset, and no spacers, but yours are a massive 54 offset, that's a pretty big spacer, i know from research some of the AMG wheels for the w203 went down as far as ET30 to fill out the arch better, and allow for extra rim width, you may need to go that far, if you do then you need to look at threads regarding spacers etc, and the best type to use

Put your details into here and see how things look

By my guess, and it is just that, a guess, if your using the same staggered setup i am, then a 10mm spacer on the front will clear all the suspension, and stick out wider than stock by 2mm, be careful with the fronts, because clearance to the inner arch plastic is very low at the front and rear of the arch on full lock, too much one way or the other will result in rubbing.

The rears, you'd need 20mm spacers just to get back to your stock clearances from the suspension and wing/arches

Numpty question about mixing tyres

Thread revival here for a quick question.
Currently running 245x40x18x8.5j ET30 Fronts and 265x35x18x9.5j ET31 standard AMG 1V 5 spoke wheels on my W211 E55.

Now considering a set of 235X35X19X8.5j ET35 Fronts and 265x30x19x9.5j ET38 Rears.

Simply, will they fit without using spacers, or fouling the calipers or arches please?

I have read alot of info, but really do need to check.

I have a W209, and need some new wheels.

I have checked the fitment guide posted and the offsets etc seem to match OK...

But could someone please just help settle my uncertainty?

Will W202 wheels fit OK?

Hi I'm still fairly new to all this but been trying to use the search for a spare wheel iv just seen the space master spares and
Wondered if the 18" spare on a r320 would fit on my w211 amg?
Think the offset is 40 and I'm guess it's 6"wide as it has a 195 tire on there.
And info would be much appreciated

Or would a spare off a 2013 cls fit ? I'm a bit confused lol

And sorry if it's a noob question in the wrong post :(

Hi
I have W204 C220cdi and would like to get some 18" AMG replicas but most of them come in 8.5 ET35. This sounds pretty aggressive to me and I cannot find any picture of anyone running these sizes and offsets.
Does anyone know how well this fits or any pics available?
Thanks.

w203 sports coupe SE here..
Been looking at aftermarket 18"s for a while now..

18" BLACK CRUIZE 190 ALLOY WHEELS FIT MERCEDES CLC W203CL 2008 | eBay

Just spotted these, think they would suit it really well but the question is, would they fit and what tyre sizes am i looking at?
Currently got standard 16" merc alloys with same size tyres front and rear.
If somebody could PM a reply rather than clogging up this thread any more, that would be fantastic.

8.5J rims

Hi All.... I am curious as to why my car has different size tyres front and rear with the same 8.5J rims at both ends.... I have a E Coupe 350CDi with the Sports/AMG pack which gave me 19" rims the rear tyres are 255/30/19 and the fronts are 235/35/19 but the rims are the same size front and rear...the fronts look a little stretched to the rim..the rears look comfortable... i have seen on Alloy wheels direct a set of AMG V 16spoke 19"'s that are 8J front and 9J rear.... what would be the effect of changing to these rims?
I have winter tyres and would like a second set of rims ... would my tyres fit or would I go up a tyre size for the rear to 265 (width) :dk:

You should go to 275/30 at the rear. Your present set up means there is a 11.5mm difference in diameter between the front and rear. I'm surprised your cruise control works.

The difference between the front and rear will only be 0.5mm with the 275s.

Thanks for the advice.... the wheels are actually the standard set up on my car from new.... it was only when i had my tyres changed the guy told me the rims are the same size front and rear... which puzzled me a little.

Do you have the twin 7 spoke wheels at the moment?

If the wheels are all 8.5J then you should have 235/35/19 tyres all around.

Those wheels were also available as a staggered set with a 9.5J rear to which they fitted a 275/30/19 rear tyre.

the rear 255/30/ZR19's were supplied as standard by Mercedes

Hi, I have just bought a 2014 S212 (E220CDi Estate SE Auto, very impressed with the driver assistance package) and am wondering if my winter tyres and wheels, off my 2007 W211 will fit straight on or will need a spacer or new wheels? Part number for winters are 2114013402 and also says 8Jx16H2ET36 looking at the sheet on the first post it looks like the last number should be a 46 i.e. 10 more dose this mean a 10mm spacer and longer bolts?

Thanks in advance

Just a quick one out of the blue, and new here so apologies if in the wrong area.
Just purchased my first MB, (Vito 120CDI), and it has Mustang 17" wheels on it as fitted by the last owner, (also came with std 16" wheels), and they are great, with no adverse effects and work well. Slightly under size by approx 3% on std wheels and tyres, but are good. Will get pics when cleaned :)
Just thought it would be a good post as another set that fit !
