Re the Porsche.

If you’re into your Porkers you’ll know that it’s a Singer Porsche.

Bruce Dickinsons cousin is the owner of Singer.

I did wonder but then thought, nahhhh it can’t be. That’s a few Bob sat there.
It’s stunning.
The filler cap in the bonnet has FUEL written in Porsche script!

The attention to detail is astonishing.

With a plate like that you might as well have a huge banner saying STOP ME PLEASE OFFICER!!!
It clearly doesn't work like that; at least in these here parts. I regularly see cars with plates that have been fiddled with in terms of spacing, font or a strategically placed screw caps. The fact I regularly see them suggests the local Old Bill don't.

Oh yeah it’s deffo illegal but I’ll put money on it that he never gets stopped. The Met have better things to do.

I don’t understand though why he just doesn’t put on a non aged plate.

Exactly this. ^^
Pimlico Plumbers are incorrect spacing gold medalists.

If I put black and silvers on a 91 car if get pulled up the same day .....with my sort of luck! No vehicles registered after 1st Jan 1980 (V suffix reg) can use black and silver/white plates....even if they are over 40 years old and registered with the DVLA as a "historic vehicle". So no matter how old that car gets those plates with never be legal on it.

My T150V was first Registered in June 1973, I have a Black/Silver Plate on it and they it is Illegal!

31st December 1972 was the "Cutover Date" for the White Front and Yellow Rear Plates in the UK, I supect that I get away with it as the Bike is many Years older than the Police nowadays! (They all look 12 to me) ;)

Not true....that changed years ago.....as long as its registered as historic vehicle and over 40 years old and not newer than Jan 1st 1980....then its legal. These are the current rules...

This old beauty parked over the road from Bognor Pier this afternoon....lovely old beasty.....a 380 SE.....and a quite tidy early R8 right next to it.....
