Have You Seen Any Interesting Cars On The Road Lately?

Not very often I come up behind something and don’t know what it is - but this happened yesterday, had to look it up when I got home. Then realised that it was a lucky spot as the car pretty well never goes out between MOTs

Not sure why the passenger door wasn’t closed properly - must have been very noisy

You definitely saw it from the best angle, it’s a handsome car when viewed square on from the rear.. the front however, well that’s altogether different!

More likely named after the Asian and Australian tree.

Thanks to the kind policeman who showed me the error of my ways when he broke the speed limit on a dual carriageway & forced himself in between me & the car behind me. I was on the outside lane, saw the police car coming down at a rate of knots so pulled over to the inside lane to let him past. Even had the cheek to say "nice car"

So which phrase that pays did you use?
"It's a fair cop guv"
Or
" You got me bang to rights"
;)

Never said anything, just listened to his lecture. No point.
Wise man. "I know my place."

What do you reckon? Reprimand, ticket, or points?

Since they introduced automation, I haven't been "pulled" for a very long time.

A cop friend of mine says they have been told to be a lot hotter on miss spaced plates. They confuse all the auto number plate recognition stuff they use everywhere these days. Something also to bear in mind is that if you have private plates, you never actually own them.....your just pay the DVLA for the right to use it. So if you become a repeat offender with a miss spaced private plate it's well within their rights to take it from you. They threatened to do that to me when I had A8 LXL on my long wheelbase Audi 4.2 A8....as I had it spaced as A8L XL (see what I did there!)..... and refused to put it right on the grounds that as all the letters were the correct shape and not pushed together it was perfectly legible......i didn't win that argument and was so annoyed that I sold it.....for more than I paid for the car with it on...winner!

Absolutely, and IIRC they have the legal right to withdraw it at any time. When I last bought a reg. from them it was very clearly stated that displaying it in anything other than the specified format was likely to trigger this.
