My first car was an A35. Remember Graham Hill racing a rapid example!I'm seeing something of a pattern of disparity between the "proper interesting cars" that @Darrell spots, and the sorts of cars that tend to crop up in this corner of the country..:
In the supermarket carpark today.:

Was it a replica??An AK427, I owned one of those once
Yes Darrell, the AK427 is produced either in kit form or factory built in Peterborough. It was my second cobra and finished in less than 8 months of weekend fettling. AK have just started to produce a GT40 replica and I tried to get in one a few weeks ago but gave up as although I could probably got in, I don't think I'd have got out againWas it a replica??

Where I live one tends to see the big ticket classics. Tbh, any classic is of interest to me.I'm seeing something of a pattern of disparity between the "proper interesting cars" that @Darrell spots, and the sorts of cars that tend to crop up in this corner of the country..:

Ive always had a soft spot for Ginettas. When walking to school in the 1980's i used to pass a house that had a little red G15 in the garage. If you were lucky the garage would be open - i always knew that was going to be a good day!The new Ginetta G10 has my attention at the moment. Factory visit soon to drive the development car. If it drives as well as it looks then it will be blooming wonderful.
Ah funnily enough i saw one of those turquoise A35's on the M25 yesterday! (Driving, not trailered) How strange! Also had a BRDC sticker on it.
Gilborn?Anyone want to have a guess what this bad boy is?
