Have You Seen Any Interesting Cars On The Road Lately?

I had a CX Familial for quite a few years, bought it in 1980, IIRC 2.5l diesel. Most comfortable car I've ever owned or been a passenger in. Once drove 1000 miles in 1 day from Austria-Yugoslav border to Orpington (Kent in those days) and felt OK on arriving at Mum and Dad's house to sit talking to them (had not seen them for months) for a couple of hours! Eventually sold it as wife did not like the size in the country lanes where we lived - so bought a BX instead!
I had the use of a CX for a while. I agree it was supremely comfortable with those mahoosive sofas for front seats but, boy, did it take some getting used to in terms of driving the thing. Especially if you were regularly driving 'normal' cars as well.

BX19GTi - now THERE was a fast roller skate!! Loved the one I had, there was not much that I couldn't take back in the day!!

I saw this in The Netherlands a couple of weeks ago during the 4 days marches. Quite a new bit of kit. The Dutch military have ordered over 1000 of them!

Spotted a full camouflaged Range Rover Sport out testing. I’ve seen many over the years but this one was towing a laden trailer, which I’ve never seen before. I think it was probably a fully-electric version (BEV) rather than hybrid.

Perhaps the trailer carried the larger capacity add-on battery pack required for towing,?? 1691307347958.gif

Hi , while out walking this morning I saw a1959 , light blue Chevrolet Impala that looked factory fresh.

The real stand out point that is was right hand drive car , may be an import from Australia, Japan !
