Have You Seen Any Interesting Cars On The Road Lately?

That looks like a TVR Chimera, my most disappointing test drive ever. I had thought it would be the perfect cabriolet for us, lovely V8 grumble and a boot big enough for a weekend or week away. Sat in it across the back unsufraced parking area of the garage and knew if herself was in the pasenger seat, fist time we stopped she'd get out and refuse to get back in. Driving it was lovely while I had to stir the stick, but once we got to cruise there was nowhere comfortable for my left foot and soon my thigh was screaming. Got back into my 968 coupe to drive home and thought "why do I even think of swopping this??", so I did not!!
Horses for courses.

For me it was a car for driving very fast in, making lots of noise and being able to hang about at the TVR place in Barnet and a couple of factory visits. And looking good in the summer.

I had a new big pot Griffith on a K plate and new Tuscan on a Y plate.

My business partner had a T350 on a 55 plate which lasted a week before it was sold and replaced by a 996 C4S convertable.

Another homie has a SEAC back when. That was a real man’s car. 👍👍
