Motorbike on motorway telling me to stop

He was driving along in the centre lane himself haha. What a hypocrite

Well knock him off next time you see him he's giving motorcyclists a bad name! I for one don't tolerate any middle lane hogging and deal with it as it should be, a twist of the wrist and go past them. :D

;) haha fair enough!
Nice SL in your photo by the way. Always loved that shape ;)

No - as a fully paid up member of her maj's constab, he is allowed to ride in the middle lane when enforcing the law.

Only a matter of time before someone 'accidentally avoids a hazard' and knocks the twt off his bike.

Unmarked police motorcyclists are around , I saw one on the M20 3/4 years ago, saw a biker coming up quickly behind me and moved over and slowed to 70 in middle lane, he pulled alongside, and gave me a look, then in front and stayed at70 MPH for a couple of hundred meters before accelerating off, it looked like a privately owned bike, and he had on a brown leather jacket, jeans and boots, but I noticed a blue light up near his rear reg, plate so was relieved when he drove off at speed, s'pose that was his idea of a warning. Was glad to see him go.

I rather doubt that was a police motorcyclist at all. AFAIK the police invariably wear decent protective clothing, not jeans.

You weren't in the middle lane, were you...

Unlike the ones I saw in the South of France, who wore short sleeved shirts even when chasing speeding motorists!

No I was in the o/s lane doing about 85 when I first saw him, well I suppose he may have had black leather trousers, but he definitely had a blue light on the back, my wife wondered what he was up to, and I pointed out the blue light before he drove off. So :dk:

Good thing you slowed down in time!

The Isle of Man definitely has unmarked police motorcycles; they advertise the fact. - All that means is that if you're not participating in a road race you stick to the limit (where there is one).

The guy in question is clearly a numbskull. Unfortunately he's not the only one to use our roads. I find it disappointing that so many members here feel it necessary to suggest taking physical action against him, whether in jest or not. To my mind that sort of attitude is far worse and infinitely more dangerous that the weird actions of the aforementioned numpty.

They're just saying what they fancy doing. (I hope ... )

What we really should do, is report the person's actions, calmly, to the police, with the registration number. (In this case explaining why the person's actions, in "suggesting" a stop on the motorway, would be dangerous and made the complainant feel uncomfortable.)

It is likely that the police won't at that point do anything. But if the same registration starts to show up several times, or is already noted ...

I'd have undertaken him, pulled out in front of him and then floored the accelerator so that he choked to death on particulates. Pleased with myself I'd then fly half way around the world for a holiday and then plant two tress upon my return to salve my conscience.

Is that V6 Altitude...or Attitude ?

I think my tack might be to call the police asking if this vehicle is an unmarked police vehicle , due to the fact that he tried to make a stop .

This will be taken very seriously and he would get a visit very quickly .

Good idea! Didn't record his reg tho :( will do if I see him again haha. I'd have thought
Police vehicles have some kind of discrete lights/siren eve if unmarked?

So I was riding my bike on the way to London few days ago, when I got cut off by some incosiderate t**t in an AMG wanna be car...

Each story tends to have two sides, and there isnt any account for the other guy.

Also, funny how all it takes is to mention word 'bike' on here and its like to poke a bear with a sharp stick.
