Jimmy. The tamper seal is only the red bit in the plug. Pull it off then you can pull the plug and re-use as required.

No such luck for me, the dealer submitted the claim twice under different codes but MB refused. I rang MB MK and basically was told "what do you expect from an R reg car!!!":

Jimmy this means the car can be a maximum of six years old if it's an August car. The warranty is six years so it should still be covered???!!!**

Have you tried writing to MB. Start withthe MD and work your way up!
