Thanks so much Olly for organising out, that was some really nice chilli con carne ;). Also many thanks to your wonderfully hospitable mum and girlfriend.

Nice to see some new faces too!

Just got into my hotel. The drive to Dover was, erm, wet!!

Again a BIG thanks to Ollie and the familty for a great spread. That chilli was excellent :)

Also a big thanks to the guys who fitted my new foglights. WOW! What a difference, much brighter and the increase in beam width is vey noticable :D

Great to see some old faces and to make a few more connections to forum namnes

Hey all,

Firstly would like to thank Olly for the GTG and the food that was yummy and thanks to his mum and GF too. Olly thanks for all your advice and looking at my car, I will be in-touch on Monday and we can sort out booking my car in etc...

Nice to meet many of you and put names to faces. I will wrap up warmer next time as I literally froze. Weather aside however I think it was a great meet and some very nice cars too.

Will defo go to another meet in the future.

:)

Another great GTG Olly!

Sorry couldnt hang around too long had to get back to London in time to tke my son to a birthday party.

Andrew, great work on my alloys!

Thanks to Olly and Emma for putting on another superb bash...that chilli was spot on :D

The SL looks surprisingly good in the wet...hides all the bad bits!

Poor weather, but fine company!! Thanks to all for organising the GTG, and a special mention to Ollie's Mum and GF for the catering.

It was good to get the voltage fault properly diagnosed and of course get the headlights & sidelights sorted out..... 10/10 for persistence guys!

I pity anything caught in the light of the full beams now!!!

As everyone has said - many, many thanks to Ollie and his family/girlfriend etc etc for hosting a very hospitable GTG. The preperation and refreshments etc were superb, lovely chilli jackets etc

Nice workshop you've got there Ollie, I'm sorry to anyone who I forgot to catch up with - to be honest I think the cold weather made everyone try to conserve heat and energy by not talking as much as usual! :o

Some lovely cars as usual - Maff's Ferrari sounds awesome!  :D

Roll on the next one, just hope the weather is a bit warmer/drier next time.

Will

Wow!! Who owns the C140 coupe? That looks stunning!

Wow!! Who owns the C140 coupe? That looks stunning!

I don't know who's it is, but it looks nice with the AMG wheels etc, and it's for sale (£3250 IIRC?)

Will

Actually, is that a 'For Sale' sign I spy in the window?

Sorry that could not make it - was over the other side of England looking to pick up a W140 but a few things have caused me to think about whether to go ahead with that particular car - would have been great to be there

Thanks Will (our posts crossed)

Does anyone have a better shot of the ad in the window that has the contact details? It looks like one that was for sale about 5 months ago at a dealer up north.

Hi James,

I don't think it had any tax = perhaps it's parked there for the moment - so if you need the phone number etc maybe Ollie would have the details if you ring him at work tomorrow or something :)

Will

thanks - will drop him a line

Ooop, I slipped with the crayon....

Does anyone have a better shot of the ad in the window that has the contact details?

What, like this? -----------------------------------------

-------------------- No, sorry.....

Thankyou everyone for coming to my GTG.

It takes alot of organising and preperation but it is worth it.

Emma and I cooked the chilli the night before along with 40 jacket spuds.

The next one will be in May when the weather will be better!

Thanks again.

Olly
