PS How does that ULEZ thread relate to your suggestion that an insuramce company only took action to fix errors when there was media attention?
Was there any evidence of that by the way?
The article states that insurance cover was suspended for four days starting on a Friday. So suspended on Friday and restored the next working day (Monday).
Very few media outlets carried the story and the BBC appears to be the first on 6 November, the others - The Telegraph and Daily Mail followed on 7 November.
The 6 November was a Monday and so the article
may have been published on the day insurance was restored, and it had already been sorted as it’s written the last tense.
Perhaps “they” don’t want us to know the truth about black boxes, and so they censored Google search results so that the rest of us don’t see what’a coming.
Cleverly though, “they” allowed just three Google search results to muddy the water and avoid accusations of total censorship. They really are sneaky sausages.
Comically, at the time of writing this very thread on MBClub is actually the 14th Google search result when using the search terms
