Nice! The seats look different to one I saw at a meet earlier this year, which had a sort of mottled effect on the centre panels.

sorry i phrased incorrectly.. I saw it on the web and spoke to the seller.

I first rang about it ages ago... I was about to set off and when I rang he told me it was sold.

I then rang a month later as it was still advertised.. they made up some **** and bull about the sale falling through...

Anyway, I spoke to them in detail about it... they never mentioned a new engine back then and IIRC had precious little history...

He said he would take 9K and i told him it was too expensive.

That was it pretty much.

At the moment yes, holding on, as i haven't even got round to advertising it, want to do some tidy-ups before it leaves me so that new owner gets a perfect car. But yes it is for sale if anyone is interested.

r129 SL600 braking system (huge discs and calipers)

r129 SL AMG 2-piece alloys by BBS (also have set of flat face et11 Aero I’s in black (done by Spit and Polish) if preferred

w124 E60 AMG front roll bar (costs 700 gbp from MB, NLA)

Koni adjustable front shock absorbers

H&R 500e specific coil springs all round

Self levelling rear suspension (standard)

AMG homologated steering wheel with airbag

Electric rear view mirror and auto dimming

Twin electric wing mirrors, heated

Tracker fittedCat I alarm fitted

Electric telescopoic steering column

Electric rear blindAir conditioning (and working perfectly)

Perfect engine and gearbox,with whole host of original paperwork/file

Everything works perfectly

Bose speakers with Sony sound system and CD changer

‘Mercedes Benz’ door sills




That's all i can think off for now.

Oh and original paintwork (never resprayed) and original drivetrain ! All bushings, mounts replaced to give this car the drive it had on day one but better with it's AMG/Koni/H&R suspension components.

Yep, that front bumpers part of the tidy-up items....all superficial stuff, i just need to get round to it. Precious little time with 4 kids, work, wife, blah-de-blah...

But need to make room for another black beauty arriving next month....the Gemballa SEC.
