What Have You Done To Your Merc Today?

Booked in for some TLC in November by a guy I know who does detailing for a living - full interior valet, full under bonnet valet, wheels fully prepped for winter and coated with something ceramic, along with the callipers and the hubs rubbed back and refinished in matte black to match the wheels.

Should get the car 100% ahead of the winter where it will be driven sparingly ahead of the spring :thumb:

Quick wash of SWMBO's 246, too cold to do much else.

SORN’d it, covered it, hooked it up to life support (ctec), wished it a Happy Christmas and said ‘see you next year’. Closed garage door.

Got one of my Genuine Swivel bases fitted

Bit of a wash n wax (did the Golf and the MX-5 too).

Well on Sunday we went on a 100 mile cruise with no particular destination in mind...ended up in Skipton

Washed and hoovered one of the W212.

Removed the wheels, cleaned these, checked the suspension, brakes, cleaned and waxed brake pipes and ferrules etc.
Checked all lights, belts, horn, wipers etc. then dropped off for MOT.

Used it to take all our gear to a gig, got a comment 'nice car' after my waxing efforts yesterday.

Fitted newly refurbished wheels and new winter tyres.

Similar to yesterday, W212 E250, washed, vacuumed, wheels off, cleaned inside arches and wheels, cleaned and waxed brake pipes.

Checked bushes, lights etc. etc.

Dropped at garage for MOT, picked up other one, passed, no advisories, less than 800 miles since last MOT.

Got all the stuff together to do front disc's and pads on the CLK. Brembo disc's, Textar pads, Pagid fitting kits and screws and Bosch wear sensors.
