I took Missy out for a drive and ended up at a lovely pub next to the river in Nayland. Had a nice walk along the river and then a cool beer at the pub.
I've done those in the SUV with my wife whimpering and wanting to turn back. Until I told her we are more than half way and have to stick with it. No way I'd take my CLS there.Just driven the Wrynose & Hard Knott passes in the Lake District. I have driven some challenging passes throughout Europe but this is up there with the best of them. Apparently this is the steepest road in England and It’s not for the faint hearted. Driving rain with the wipers on full pelter made conditions far from ideal. Well worth it regardless.
Why wouldn’t you take the CLS?I've done those in the SUV with my wife whimpering and wanting to turn back. Until I told her we are more than half way and have to stick with it. No way I'd take my CLS there.
The SL handled it well. You do need to be confident of your car and of your ability as a driver as the road is testing.I've done those in the SUV with my wife whimpering and wanting to turn back. Until I told her we are more than half way and have to stick with it. No way I'd take my CLS there.
