Watched rain bouncing off it all day (again) and then took it for a spirited drive to one of my favourite restaurants, and a gentle drive back. Awful weather this evening.

Put new wipers on the W221 S320 Cdi, new pollen filters, did an air con cleaner can and then removed, cleaned and reinstalled the EGR. Decided I couldn't be bothered with the air filters today, so hoovered it instead. Filters and intake seals can be done another day. Then apologised profusely to the R171 SLK350 which has been sat in the garage getting no attention, affection or use these last couple of weeks (yes I talk to them both, it's perfectly normal 
)

Checked the back seat going down on the c class, as the wife wants to put a wedding cake in the back.

Drove the 211 for the first time in over a week. Off to town and back. About 20miles each way so a decent run. Thoroughly enjoyed

Been away from the Coast 7 weeks now and not missing washing Sea Gull poo off once, twice a day. This is the first bit of bird poo I have had, is that the best they can do around here ?

Just been mugged V power diesel £1.979 robbin stards.
Had a go at wrapping some of the chrome bits due to pitting, etc.
Strip above rear number plate and side trims
The lower & upper trims around the windows are next but need to get some confidence - have an estate and not quite sure how the rear quarter glass trims come off the car

Changed my air filters. Was going to also change the breather and turbo seals on the batwing but have had the wrong parts supplied (despite getting from the local MB dealer with reg no). Looks like a) air filters not been done in a while and b) not terribly well fitted anyways (the right, i.e. passenger side was even more mangled!)
