Up and out early with Baby D for a breakfast meet (or coffee morning). The car hadnāt been washed for a few months but was clean through lack of use and when we did use it last week, the roads were unusually clean and dry. Nonetheless I had it detailed yesterday ahead of the trip today.<br />

Naturally that guaranteed rain over night, so the roads were wet through this morning. It rained lightly all the way there but light traffic and generally fast roads meant that we had the roof down all the way there. The rain held off just long enough whilst we were there too.<br />
<br />
The wet weather meant that the spicy cars were thin on the ground however it was great go see some special metal (and carbon fibre) being used as it should. Star car for me was a Ferrari 512 TR, a rare car made even more rare by being (TDF?) blue, and rarer still will a full red leather interior <img class="smilie smilie--emoji" alt="š" src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f60d.png" title="Smiling face with heart-eyes :heart_eyes:" data-shortname=":heart_eyes:" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" /><br />

On the way back we swung by the home of a very clever young chap who makes bespoke carbon fibre parts, to have a very subtle visual tweak done which nobody else will ever know is there, but I will. We came home cross country so the car is now a fetching shade of satin brown <img class="smilie smilie--emoji" alt="š" src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f601.png" title="Beaming face with smiling eyes :grin:" data-shortname=":grin:" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" />
