Who stole my star

I got rid of my star and replaced it with a flat bonnet badge. I even replaced the grill to an AMG matching one, so I treat myself..

When mine broke I just got a new one from Mercedes £27, I asked if the CL one would fit but they have two small screws to fit it.
I cut the spring off the old one so the centre fell out,the hole is 16mm, been looking for a chrome disc the same size, the only thing fits is a 1 cent € I covered it in silver foil to see what it would look like. It's not fitted until I can find something better.

fit a BMW badge over the hole.

I prefer the badge on there - makes the car a Merc IMO

Sporty mercs are the exception and can get away with a flat badge but need a star grille to match. There has to be a star either on the grille or on the bonnet. Never neither and never both!

Them are the rulz.

I can't think why !! Alternatively, keep the sunroof open and crouch down between the front and back seats with a shotgun ready to intantly appear in the open sunroof and spring a surprise on them with both barrels

My mate kept having the HT leads nicked off his bike over night so he cut a couple of razor blades in half lengthways and glued em on the lead which he then squeezed up tight before pushing it onto the plug so it needed a really good pull to get it off, came out in the morning to find one lead on the floor, one half one the bike and nice puddle of blood on the floor and up the side of the bike.

When i found my star bent i was thinking about grinding the edges a bit concave all the way round so i could get a sharp edge on it, but its been left alone since then anyway.
