Why do some AMG owners drive like knobs?

Oh yeah? Well I've got a fully a trained combat butterfly so watch out!

Hai! Froat rike butterfry, sting rike bee!

Pah! I spit upon your butterfly! My two-year-old son has a soft toy that does kung fu....

Says the man who takes the pi$$ out of other people's spelling

Fixed that for you. OOH look; grammer, syntax and punctuation all in one sentence. :D

Sorry, reverting to type. Don't mind me...

Another idiot spotted last night in my flat's underground parking lot.
I was out with my dog waiting for her to do her business when I heard the car start. I instantly knew it was a C63 and he felt the need to drive like an idiot INSIDE the underground parking lot at 10pm and proceeded to do the same as soon he got out on to the road. What a puppet. I can't believe people do this as soon as they start the car as well when the engine oil temperature hasn't even risen enough!

 Banned for repetition, oh sorry wrong thread.

I honestly think that if I had a 63 of some description,I would have to revel in
the soundtrack it left in it's wake, now how long it would take to calm it is an
unknown,as I have noticed that most of you AMG guys appear to be possessed
by your aggressive cars and the sounds they make.Too much of a temptation
under foot I guess, and understand that, but general opinion of a noisey car driver
is yob, time and place has to be a consideration I feel.

I wouldn't go as far as possessed, though I must admit to enjoying the noise it makes, and mine is very loud, as a few on here would testify. :)

I would agree 100% with location and time. Mine is loud on the initial start up, with the classic AMG "bark", though I wouldn't like think that anyone living by me would realise this. I start it, straight into gear and away on very low revs, therefore giving the locals any reason to suspect it's anything other than just a car. This is not just on my estate, but anywhere in a built up area as the mods were done purely for my benefit, not to annoy other people with.

However, a quiet country road or a reasonably deserted dual carriageway is a totally different matter, and the car then tends to then get used for slightly more "spirited" driving.

I think what I'm trying to say, is don't classify all AMG owners as the same, or let one or two morons give the rest of us a bad name. :)

More like why do some knobs drive AMGs?

When I bought my first AMG in 2003, AMG drivers were rare and buying one was an event for the driver and garage. And those that did own/drive them were mostly discrete. And it seemed the more powerful the model, the less extrovert drivers became. Never seen a '65 being driven by a prune for example - except along Park Lane. :ban:
