Hotels are down to the individual but for the start some have booked HERE for those wanting to stay near me and eat Friday night but then 45 mins to start Sat morning are staying HERE

At the finish some have booked HERE or HERE

Hi,
i put the route into google maps and it took it past the M1 junction 36 which i live very close to. So i was thinking of joining you when you past that point.

But when i realised motorway driving = boring! noticed you were going snakes pass, so when you leave Ladybower you are going left? onto snakes pass and therefore not past where i live...?

The official start point is Ladybower, however the unofficial start point for a good few of us is Barnsley (Ardsley House Hotel) so we will pass J36 onto the Stocksbridge bypass and then over the Strines to pick up the others at Ladybower. There will be no motorway driving on the whole of the tour. Be good to see you if you fancy it

Ha good, it does end a long way up North for me though. Are you staying there overnight or coming straight back (unless you live there).

junction 36 does sound good for me as its only 2 junctions up from where i join, around 5-10 minutes from my house.

I have noticed that one or two members live within close proximity to jcts 36 / 37 of the M1. I live within 2 mile of jct 37. Would anybody like to comment ??

Im not too sure yet either, will need to look into it more.

Well i live 2 minutes away from junction 35 and was going to travel to junction 36 if i was going and try and catch everyone traveling from Barnsley.

I hardly go North tbh but if you are every round Sheffield, Rotherham or Doncaster you might see me around!

We are 5 minutes from Junction 37.
Near Barnsley hospital.
