What a great looking road trip . There is a very strong possibility that I will be able to make this event so can I be added to the list please? May 26 is always a good day anyway. . Sorry but I cant confirm until end of April though due to some rather fluid work commitments . I used to travel Woodhead and Snake pass regualrly many years ago so it would be nice to revisit the area and meet up with MB club members old & new.

Photo opportunities will be great I have chosen the route for that reason, Ribblehead viaduct, Hawdraw force waterfall, buttertubs waterfalls and limestone escarpments to name but a few. Also the route will ensure people can stop where and when they want and catch back up at the coffee and lunch stops.

Have booked The Ladybower Inn for Friday 25th ( half a mile from Yorkshire Bridge Inn ). They have 5 rooms available still ( £75.00 per double room b & b ).
The Cross Butts was completely full for the 26th, so have booked The Plough at Sleights, they have 2 rooms left now at £75.00 per double room b&b. Looking forward to a great run through some beautiful countryside.

It is not so much that it is the Spring Bank holiday that is the issue for me but that 26 May is my wedding anniversary and apparently I am not the sole arbiter of what I may or may not do on said date...... does not necessarily exclude me from the trip (excludes me from coming on my own) but I would have to convince MrsB that a tour around Yorkshire is exactly what she might have had in mind for such an occasion.

It is 4th June, as the diamond jubilee has been tagged on to it on the 5th June. Some calendars are incorrect, I think from memory even MS Outlook is wrong.

We once went out for a day trip on a mates boat, had a BBq and ended up playing a loose game of water polo in the river.

One couple had to leave early as they were attending an evening wedding reception and casually said "Why don't you all come along?"...
