1/4 mile kings? / 0-100mph

Has anyone here ran their E55 down the 1/4 mile? What was your time and terminal?

Anyone have any true 0-100 mph figures for their E55's?

What about other Merc's?

I wouldn't bother unless you want to get into 9s.

It's a big car. Leave the quarter for hot hatches. 2 mile WOT is where it's at for us.

Funny enough i think they do race a shorter distance, When are you dragging yours?? I would like to Run Brutus just out of interest be good to hook up.

Hmmm, they do 1000ft and 1/8th of a mile. 1320ft is 1/4 of a mile and the US seem to be the same so who knows? Their terminal speeds seem to be quicker as well so either they make more power or it's all lies lol.

Not sure yet, I want to make sure it is all healthy at MSL first. I'd be shocked if it wasn't doing 12 second quarters though as it seems to accelerate very quickly and feels like a 9 second 0-100 mph car.

well mine does 30-80 in 4, lol so 0-100 in less than 10 should be pretty easy.

Americans take this far more seriously than we do. Their tracks will be prepared more often than the pod and most of their tracks are downhill a bit.

Did a 12.9 @113mph with a awful 2.4 60ft. 12.6ish should be doable with a decent 60ft.

I ran mine a couple of months ago, when weather was a bit cool. Ran 12.3 at 116mph (I think). With significant traction issues. I reckon I could've gotten a little lower with technique and allowing it to cool longer between runs. There weren't many people there and I kept hot lapping. Best 60ft was 1.9 but that was a hot lap, so time was a few tenths slower.

Hopefully I'll have my car ready for 12th, meant to be a decent group of MB's going.

I have not got any 1/4 or 0-100 figures, but got 174mph out of her at a TV event last year. Was on the rev limiter so have fitted a longer diff this year - W124 turbodiesel.

Not sure where some of the quarters were done but it's a point to note - mine was taken from The Weald and that runway is slippery as you like.

I know this from countless traffic light grand prix where the car digs in and launches.
