Do these wheels/tyres fit?? Read this first! Offset/fitment answers within..

i'm pretty new to "modifying" cars, save for radios and induction filters so i'll be straight. i'm looking for some alloys for my w202, looking for something a little more attractive. I noticed one members alloys on their w202 and really liked them, but i'm worried about having to change too much. I'm simply looking for the most "rim" i can fit in the wheel arch without damaging or having to change the arches in the process. low profile tyres would be nice but they arent really important. also any recommendations for websites as to where to find them (locally or over the net). I'm in Windsor so got access to a few big places :)

Thanks for any help in advance :)

EDIT TO ABOVE:

I was browsing the website on the first page and looked at the list of Approvals. If its approved by any other company, what does that mean? That it would work so long as you are using their kits and tyres or that they know after experimenting that they'll fit anyways? I dont understand why Mercedes go up to a certain "inch" then stop and are replaced by the likes of Carlsson and AMG...

thanks a lot for the links :) really like the mugello but the prices are steep! just for information, what did you search for to find them?

erm, ebay.co.uk

thats where I got my rims from. But I can't find the ones I got for mine

they were the AMG replicas which look the best in my opinion

hi

Complete newbee to Mercedes so please bear with me and sorry for the duplicate entry. I know a little about wheels and offsets and I have been offered a set of alloy wheels from a 2000 S-class Mercedes ( tyre size is 225/60/16 ) from reading the guide it would appear that the offset is 46 .

I want them to fit my 1998 E-class and its offset is 41. Will they fit ok or will i need additional spacers or longer bolts?.

Hi guys, I've read through the whole thread and can't find an answer to my question here or on the link.

Will a set of 16"x7.5j wheels with ET42 offset from a 2008 e-class with 225/55 tyres fit a 2004 209series CLK (with elegance trim/suspension), and if so are different bolts, spacers etc required?

Thanks in advance.

Would need 215516 tyres plus m12154214 bolts - can be done though costs of bolts and tyres may make it unviable

S210 tyre/wheel combo ?

Hi

I have an S210 facelift Elegance model with Avangarde springs (to drop it a bit) with 8.5x18 ET35 alloys with some cheap 225/40x18 tyres (need replacing soon).
Looking at the fitment guide it says that I can fit 235/40 on the front and 265/35 on the rear, but I have been told by my local tyre fitter that the 265's would bulge too much and possibly cause uneven wear. Would I be better off with just running 235/40 all round ?
I don't like the 225's as they don't seem to provide enough rim protection :o
I would really like to give it a better stance look

W204 wheels fitment

Hello
I just got my c class w204 fitted with 17" wheels and i wanna upgrade to 18" amg wheels, styling V.
I found 4 wheels 18*8.5 and i wanna know if they can fit my car properly ? do i need to change anything ? bolts ?

18" and even 19" wheels fit the 204 fine - there are some good AMG designs made specifically for them.

Hi,

I have a 2006 w203 with sports pack, and with the recent weather I'm looking at a set of spare wheels for winter tyres, could I get away with 4 x 8.5Jx17H2 ET34?

If so what size tyres would be advised for them?

Thanks

Derek

Hi Deker
Size is ok, to use 235/45R17 or 225/45R17.
Paste the part number of the wheel here > might require special bolts etc..
