My school friend owns the local busy car wash, free washes. Done meticulously to my orders! Picky customer

Arrrrrrrrhhhhhh :ban:

I feel your pain

Ant

This is why I am cursed to washing my own car, nobody else can be trusted. If I drop a wash mitt or drying towel on the floor it goes in the bin. This is why my previous 12 year old car was often mistaken with only being a year or two old.

even my beloved grand kids have to wear plastic bags over there pumps -shoes ect so as they dont get muck on the back floor mats , also i have a food ban in our car ,

I've always washed my own cars, rather leave it filthy than take it through the 5 pound scratch wash.

Never, ever, in 46 years of car ownership has anyone else ever washed, waxed or valeted any of my cars.

How can you be a customer if you don't pay:D

I wash my black CLS myself , I just don't trust anyone with it.

The daughters Clio gets valeted by the chap that has setup in the grounds of the gym I attend , he charges £10 for a small valet which takes around 40mins which is see as good value.

The wifes Scenic gets driven through the carwash at Morrisons when we do a "big shop" and cleaned inside when it gets to the embarrassment levels of clutter.

Kenny

Wash it myself and a quarterly maintenance wash and wax from my local(ish) Detailer...

With Lewis, it goes from this...

I wash both our cars weekly. My wife brought her car from our local Audi dealer, when she had owned it three or four months mop tracks started to appear in the paint, the dealers had mopped it then used a filler polish to hide the damage. It cost £200 to get it put right at a local detailers, the Audi dealer denied it, said it was the previous owner, the car was 6 weeks old when she brought it and Stoke Audi were the previous owners! The sales manager changed tack then and offered to pay for a meal for us because he didn't want any bad feeling. We don't let them wash it anymore.

I usually wash mine, I did this year. Wait till next July though...I may get someone else to do it.

Why did she have to bring it from the local Audi dealer?:dk:

I wash mine nearly everytime it comes back from a trip out if its bad enough so i cant use the detailing spray.

I wondn't trust anyone to wash my car.

The people next door to me have a man come around every Thursday to cut the grass and wash their cars.

But they also have a massive swimming pool and a tennis court.

I pay my daughter £3 to wash my car, which means I wash it and she watches, but still demands payment.

I wash my car even if it has not been used for a couple of days it still has to be cleaned. So it gets washed at least twice a week. No one else would be allowed near it :)

i don't bother as i like the way the seagulls decorate it !!!!
