F1 2024

Not quite, have a look at this. 7.5 minutes long but does explain in detail.

Thanks, I'll have a look.

Whichever way we look at it MotoGP bikes are 'dog slow' compared to F1 cars .

But I know which race I would rather watch ....especially after the snooze fest that was F1 Monaco 🥱

The super bikes are doing something like 205 mph in the TT. The TV helicopters can't keep up with the bikes.
No run off areas or gravel traps if it goes wrong for those lads.
Huge respect for them, but the death toll is too high IMO.
4 killed last year alone.

Lewis was a shock in a way but not totally.

I'm assuming you are referring to Lewis' move to Ferrari being a shock? Was a bit of a shock, but Mercedes have struggled under the current regulations to build a really competitive car. So it's not really surprising that Lewis joined up with his old buddy Fred at Ferrari. Probably better to do something than to wait for Mercedes to sort their correlation issues out. Time will tell he made the right choice.

I understand that far from being the unlucky, Enea is likely to find himself on a factory KTM alongside Pedro Acosta. Not a bad landing if it happens...:dk:
You got that spot on Mac. KTM also going to run 4 identical bikes next season.
Acosta, Binder, Bastianini and ANother. Jack Millers seat up for renewal and I expect he will need to find another team.
I like Jack, but he crashes too often and doesn't seem able to look after his tyres like some other riders. I think KTM will let him go.

Checo extends Red Bull contract until end of 2026.
That’s no surprise given he does what he’s told and, as said, brings in the Mexican cash.

However, I’d loved to have seen Yuki T be promoted into the main team. OR bring back Albon now he’s nicely matured.

Not sure I get where you're coming from on this one?

Having originally expected to stay on at Mercedes, Lewis has decided to join Ferrari instead. Not seeing a problem with that and neither is Toto.
Have you looked at the link ? What a state he looks !

Alex Albon is settled nicely into the Williams as team leader and the car is beginning to show progress.
I think he'd be mad to go back to being beaten every week by the golden child. Perez puts up with it, not sure Albon needs or wants it.

Albon would be the new leader with Mad-Max at MB. 😁

Yes I did look at the link.

I'm not a fashion critic. I don't care what he looks like, what clothes he wears, who he dates or what sexual orientation he is, etc.

I'm more of an F1 fan from a technological viewpoint and continually blown away by just how much these cars (and drivers) push the limits of what is possible. I'm not even a particular Lewis Hamilton fan, but I do recognise his driving ability. He is (still) an outstanding racing driver, clearly nearing the end of an F1 career which includes a legacy of success that is almost unsurpassed.

I’m beginning to wonder if Our Graham visited the museum cafe in our village a few months back? 😁
