If the thumbnail shows as on its side, delete the thumbnail using the bin icon, edit the photo on the phone with the ‘edit’ at the top right.
Use the tool that looks like a square with two arrows to rotate the photo and orient it for the forum.
Now upload the image
I rotated them, downloaded it to the thread, saw that it didn’t work, rotated it back to where I was in the first place, downloaded it again and it worked!!Nailed it!
