Have You Seen Any Interesting Cars On The Road Lately?

Supposed to go to Knebworth tomorrow to their car show. My matey is showing his Jensen but my wife has put the brakes on it saying we’ve got to spend the day together. 🙄🙄

Should have engineered an argument until she screamed "Just get out of my sight!"

This....in Emsworth. Always liked them (I'd like it more with bumpers!).....and an old Lancia that's rust free is a rare sight!

I saw a load of cars going to this on Sunday - i actually took my folks and Wife for a day out at the Little Gransden Airshow. That's a superb day out if you ever get the chance. It's small but just perfect. Grass airstrip and you get so close to the aircraft, plus a treat to watch everyone fly out at the end of the day. Imagine a couple of Hurricanes and Spits flying off a grass airstrip into the sunset about 30m away! There's a classic car show as well with a real mix. Even my wife (who is still recovering from seeing over 1000 classic cars on our recent Euro trip) loved it. All for charity too. Out of respect nothing with a red star (Yaks) were allowed to fly.

I like the idea of an air show. I’ve never been to one before but I think I’d enjoy it.

I can just see the roof of the RAF Museum at Hendon from our daughters bedroom window.

I used to go all the time with my Dad up to my early teens. Some memories are now unrepeatable, like the Vulcan, The old Lightning and things like the SR-71. Modern shows are a bit sterile I think now with limits on the flying (due to recent-ish incidents). But this Little Gransden one is great. No jets but what you see is so close so you get a really nice experience.

And the noise??
