Well I don't think it's immune - it's had one or two little repairs over the years. According to the first owner (the only other owner apart from me), it was on the last shipment from Italy, so if they were ever going to find fixes for the problems, then this one should have had them. Probably the biggest thing in its favour though was that it was Ziebarted from new - something I think the first owner arranged.You may well be right Mr Duck, it was a very long time ago.
Beautiful looking example you have there. Pointed question therefore,,,, : How is yours immunised from the same sort of issue??? (or did they address the corrosion problem on later versions).
I seem to recall being told at the time by someone "in the know" that the metal they were made from was literally steel from re-cycled washing machines.
