Have You Seen Any Interesting Cars On The Road Lately?

No photo as driving.

"Lane closed due to stranded vehicle"

It was a Goldwing on the hard shoulder so they had to close lane 1 just to be sure

If ever you've been stood on the hard shoulder of a motorway, with passing vehicles (often trucks driven by tired drivers) veering across the solid white at the edge, you'd be grateful for a closed lane too.

I was at a BikeSafe event run by South Yorkshire Police a good few years ago and they had a display of photos together with the largest remaining bits of debris from an incident where a guy riding a BMW bike broke down and had just pulled onto the hard shoulder. He was just about to get off the bike when a truck veered onto the hard shoulder and ploughed into him. He was killed, and the biggest bit of the bike that remained would have fitted in a small sweet tin. Scary stuff.

You are not wrong. The other day I saw a broken down car on the hard shoulder. The owner was perched on the bonnet bouncing a baby on her lap despite there being space behind the crash barrier :wallbash:

Terrible cropped pic but - pre facelift 212 coupe/c207 with a 14 plate?

Weren’t they all facelift by then?

I'm going to go for.: A clone, where the plate to clone has been selected by someone who only sees a 212 coupe & doesn't realise there is a visible difference. ??

A good job that you have not seen my plate! 2017 S205 with a 14 plate!

Oops, bit blurry! Spotted near the Oxo Tower. Couldn't afford a front number plate?

You'd think that would be a problem at MOT time, but the current one expired 3 months ago anyway

I had lunch at the OXO Tower a few weeks ago - very nice it was too. Then some cocktails and dinner at Brasserie Zedel 👍

Yesterday a Huracan with no MOT, today in the very same space, a Urus with two parking tickets:

So committed the same 'offense' twice in the same spot???
Or maybe just collected them from different locations and didn't bother to open them. That particular space is a taxi rank, anyway.
