Have You Seen Any Interesting Cars On The Road Lately?

Or maybe just collected them from different locations and didn't bother to open them. That particular space is a taxi rank, anyway.
I always remember years ago delivering to Fortnums loading dock in Jermyn Street and squeezing my van in behind a TNT Sprinter. It was only just gone 10am and already it had 4 parking tickets on the windcreen

And now for something completely different

I bet you see a few nice cars parked outside there 😁
We’re working on The Berkeley, Claridges and The Connaught.

I cycle past The Dorchester, The Grosvenor and The London Hilton.

You can imagine.

I saw a road legal Metro 6R4 (not sure if they ever built any road going versions originally?) in Castle Donington yesterday - I'm guessing heading to some kind of meet. Looked the dogs too, with he full rally spec lighting across the bonnet.

Sadly I was driving so no pictures

I had one as a company car for a few days in the 80's. I got a ride back from a race in Dijon with Tom Walkinshaw in his jet landing at Kidlington. My car was at Heathrow so Tom just threw me the keys to "that one in the corner over there!" with the advice that: "If you use it to commute, vary your route!"
So I did for the next few days until I could retrieve my car back from Heathrow. My memory is of fantastic pace, grip and traction, but with all the refinement of a Millwall supporter.....

Saw this bad boy on my travels….
6.0 V12 9mpg & how much is that plate worth🧨💥

Slightly better pic🙏🏾
The MOT history shows that it has only done 8,000 miles - most of which were before its first MOT in 2007. Only 3,200 miles covered since then! So fuel costs have not exactly been the biggest outlay for this car...

It's a DB7 Zagato so it will likely be part of some collection rather than being used.

Honestly Zagato don't do much for me, they seem to charge an awful lot of money to make something look worse than the original.

Exactly this. 👍 People go all misty eyed over Zagato products but I think they look bloody awful. Some of the 60’s Zagato Alfas look like they were designed by a 5 year old.

This beauty parked up at Ocean Retail Park in Portsmouth today.....clearly has a bad water leak or two as it was steamed up like this within minutes of arrival in the rain....but still a lovely car.

You really can never have enough CCTV sirens and floodlights, can you,,, ;)
Eagle eyed, Sir !

On top of the dozen or more Security guards patrolling the grounds.

(MB Chelsea: I was in for a safety recall: airbag replace. Which reminds me of another post)
