Have You Seen Any Interesting Cars On The Road Lately?

Spotted this immaculate & fairly rare bright red C63 Coupe Black Series at Yas Marina Circuit yesterday afternoon (it was parked in Lance Stroll‘s place!)
All the parking spaces in that area of the circuit were marked for F1 drivers or team principals.
I suppose they update them before (and during!) each race season!

Pretty.....I know I'm in a minority.....but I love the aero kitted ones....
 
Me too, thee was a high mileage about in the UK with the aero kit, tried to get it when £50k would have bought it. Two years later the car came down south and was up at £87k 🙀

Doesn't surprise me: I reported on more than one occasion ( yes, I am a b@stard, but that sort of thing really p1sses me off) a car local to me parked and used regularly on the road with both tax and MOT expired. It took 7 months before the thing was clamped.

I had a similar experience with a 52-seater coach that was parked up and appeared to be being lived in.
 
Bit slow up there!...I reported a VW Bora (no tax, MOT or insurance for 6 months and illegally parked opposite a T junction) near Bognor. It was clamped the next day and towed within a week.

So this is my brother's 130S that he's had since the 1980's.

It looks better than it is, because he'd had it in storage for 15 years and now it needs some recommissioning, hence the trailer.

Reports from the guy doing the recommission are that the previous engine rebuilt was poorly done, and a new engine rebuild is required.

Did I mention the mouse chewed main loom...

Out walking the dogs this morning and came across this very tidy 1983 Datsun Sunny 1.5 GL.
The only thing I could see that wasn't in great condition was a bit of blistering/rust at the bottom of the near side front corner.

Very similar to my first car (certainly not in that condition though).
Brings back fond memories.
