Have You Seen Any Interesting Cars On The Road Lately?

London taxi in a pretty dress?

tempImageTL9fYY.jpg

Except...to say that the bodywork and detailing looked very plasticky.

Might weather well, but it did look a bit ... stylish but cheap.

But who knows how it drives?

Probably as bad as a LEVC taxi.
Who knows? We await more reviews but

How’s this for an opener?

“The Lynk & Co 01 is not unpleasant looking. It’s simply anodyne to the point of innocuousness. You wouldn’t lose it in a parking lot, but you might simply forget about it entirely, and take an Uber home.”

From Jalopnik: The 2022 Lynk & Co 01 Is a Car for People Who Don't Care About Cars

Magazines existing to sell a spot of advertising will be more enthusiastic.

(Not that there’s anything wrong with being a Mondeo Renault or Vauxhall, but they have a price to match, not a £500 a month “usage fee.”)

Fwiw when I saw the image, what instantly struck me wasn't the innocuous looks of the vehicle, so much as thinking: "that rear wheel is going to be curbed when the driver returns for it, judging from it's parking position/inclination..."

Not quite the same as the other pictures.... But it was on the road!
Spotted this in Toronto, old cars are made into mini gardens!

Went on an early morning drive - 0600 start 😳 - and had the pleasure of seeing lots of very special cars. Highlights were a Pagani Huayra, Ferrari F40, McLaren 675LT MSO (with full exposed carbon body), 5x Ferrari SF90 (yes five), Aston Martin V12 Vantage.

Along the way were many Porsches, Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Aston Martins, and a couple of AMG GT C Roadsters too. It was nice to see Lancia Delta Integrale Evo out and about in the wild, and we even saw two Nobles another rare sight.

Blimey! The only interesting car I've seen today was a rather more humble Vauxhall Victor from circa 1972.
