Have You Seen Any Interesting Cars On The Road Lately?

This at my work....clean as a very clean thing indeed....even underneath! Sounded tight as well. Cant remember the last time I saw one!

Not quite the only place Ant; last time I was in Lidl I could have bought Burgers and Bongos!
I peaked too soon. The first time I went inside a Lidl the centre aisle featured a pile of James Bond style personal submarines - think “underwater motorbike” - for the bargain price of £200. It might have been 10-15 years ago, but that was surely a bargain even then.

Every supermarket I’ve ever been to since that day is just a disappointment 😁

Blimy, that's going to have a very interesting history then isn't it.? - As I recall, they were usually already showing visible signs of corrosion by the time their first MOT was due.!

Didn't BL add rust to them on the production line?

Saw this beauty in Kenmare last Saturday evening:

We saw it on the road a couple of hours earlier, being followed by an equally gorgeous Aston DB6. No pictures of that though as we were on the bike.

A quick search revealed it to be a 1958 example.

As mentioned, extremely valuable which is why it was so nice to see such a car being used, regardless of the weather, and not hidden away in a private collection somewhere.

Agreed. I had to go to the middle of a jungle in Brazil to see this lot in a private collection....and this was just one of six halls

Never knew Rover did a convertible. Looks great. Just looked up the Mot & its registered as a

LLOYD VIKING 75C

registered Sept 2020 & first Mot due Unknown
Autocar article on the builder, google Lloyd Viking

I've just watched the video on facebook, it's a home made conversion. The folding roof looks as if it's been taken off an "E" class convertible - hence the seats. I have to admit at first glance I did think it was a Bentley . The quality of the finish , panel gaps etc , was absolutely spot on, you'd never say it was a conversion. The small giveaway was a , hardly noticeable , joint in the chrome trim in the where the rear door joint was originally. Built in 2020 apparently , so no wonder it looked so good.
