The guy is an retired chippy or a builder or similar. He’s also built a car using the front end of 2 Rovers.I've just watched the video on facebook, it's a home made conversion. The folding roof looks as if it's been taken off an "E" class convertible - hence the seats. I have to admit at first glance I did think it was a Bentley . The quality of the finish , panel gaps etc , was absolutely spot on, you'd never say it was a conversion. The small giveaway was a , hardly noticeable , joint in the chrome trim in the where the rear door joint was originally. Built in 2020 apparently , so no wonder it looked so good.
Just saw it. My bad.See above!
It’s a project. A hobby. A pastime.Making two halves or a pretty rubbish car into an even worse one?....sounds like a plan!!!
I guess this is always a risk when the residuals plummet to that of a used Focus!Yours for £10K!!! My eyes, my eyes!View attachment 142006
Four door??I’d go so far as to say that it’s one of the very best looking four door convertibles I’ve ever seen of any designer or manufacturer.
I meant four seat. Of course that was actually a four door before the angle grinder and welding gear came out to play.Four door??
Now you're talkingI’ve had a couple of interesting numbers through my shop this week…
