Have You Seen Any Interesting Cars On The Road Lately?

Saw a vintage Bugatti coming the other way near Kelso on Wednesday. Was driving at the time, so no photo, but a very rare and expensive car which sounded superb.
There are a surprising number of kit cars based upon VW Beetles.

I had one of those , Series IIIC , Reg OKS 249 which was green with white roof ; I acquired it in lieu of money this guy owed me .
One day , in the pub , ended up chatting to this guy who’d worked in the factory ; he told me the two tone paint jobs were known as ‘The Gay Look’ back then .
It was a pleasant enough car to drive , but sold on eventually.

Judging by the white ribbons this one appeared to be used for weddings which surprised me as it doesn't seem like a natural for such an occasion.

We were waved at by a guy in an 'Auntie' Rover just yesterday. We didn't think it was in anyway strange as we are used to all other Land Rover Defender drivers waving when we are driving 'Vera', our Defender.

...but we were top down in 'Mitzy' our Mazda MX-5.:dk:

It's the sort of car your GP drove back in the 50's :)

W221 towing a caravan spotted on A14 services in the roadworks just east of Cambridge. Car was dead level and not dipping at rear, air suspension. Noted because my W211 (steel suspension) dips at rear with can on the hook'. Plus I'm currenty contemplating a W222.

M1 North, if you look you can see they have changed it to Young Joe who I believe is a recording artist
