Maybe... My guess is that this one is a bit later - early '20s so I'm going for a 30/98 E Type Velox.Could it be a Vauxhall Prince Henry?

I’d need to see the front to clarify nMaybe... My guess is that this one is a bit later - early '20s so I'm going for a 30/98 E Type Velox.
Nice patina there
It was parked in a back alley in a coastal town near to Newcastle Upon Tyne. Very pretty little car with it's Rolls Royce style front grille. Mint condition so i assume has recently been restored. Dolomite Sprint underpinnings so a hot little saloon in it's day.Wow, they are very rare. Built on a Triumph Dolomoite. Where did you see it because I’ve never seen one.
Thanks for sharing that BTB500, very interesting bit of history. Oddly the one i saw was parked in an alleyway not unlike the one in your post. SpookyPanther started in a lockup garage on Crutchfield Lane, Walton-on-Thames ... the same year my parents bought their house less than 100 yds away. I used to walk past on the way to & from school and the doors were always wide open so you could see the cars being made. We used to hear them being taken out for test drives etc. too. I left home in 1980 and the original company folded at about the same time, it was then bought by Koreans and moved to a bigger site in Byfleet where probably their best-known cars (e.g. the Kallista) were made. My parents still live in the same house and I walked past the old Panther lockup a few weeks ago taking a letter to the postbox for them

I saw an almost identical Vauxhall (identified by the flutes) in Berkhamsted or Hemel - I drove through both - yesterday. Unfortunately I was driving so couldn’t take a pic.Could it be a Vauxhall Prince Henry?
I don’t live far from there so I’ll keep my eyes and ears open.I saw an almost identical Vauxhall (identified by the flutes) in Berkhamsted or Hemel - I drove through both - yesterday. Unfortunately I was driving so couldn’t take a pic.
A hot little saloon but an eye watering price though. It was parked in a back alley in a coastal town near to Newcastle Upon Tyne. Very pretty little car with it's Rolls Royce style front grille. Mint condition so i assume has recently been restored. Dolomite Sprint underpinnings so a hot little saloon in it's day.
It would have been a very eccentric choice of car in the 70's with its huge price tag.
Being a 1990 would that be one of the very first of the new R129 series? Being that age maybe adds some value? But overall not worth more than £5-6k? (just guessing)Interesting 1990 SL300 at my indy. Off road for 4 years very recently serviced and MoT. 137000 miles. Needs refreshing but looks sound. He's selling on behalf of a customer. What's it worth?
