Still looking round... is the Performance Pack worth it? This looks like a really nice example. Bit more than I wanted to pay, but might be worth stretching for the extra bits and pieces, not to mention the BHP and forged internals...

It is certainly worth it if you want the extra power above 5k and don't want to derestrict the throttle with a remap on a stock one. When mapped, they are all about the same, but I wouldn't bother to map a PP car myself as the gains are not huge.

Unless you poddle around, I would get an LSD though.

I had pretty much the same spec in a saloon. Same colour, PP pack, same alloys. You won’t be disappointed!

Agree with not bothering to map it. I’d get it. Enjoy it. And after some time consider the LSD but by then you’ll know whether you feel that you need it or can live without.

Cheers all. Had a bit of a spanner thrown in the works today, with a lovely 16 plate, admittedly high miles (38k) saloon for £36k. Lots of toys on it and still under MB warranty. This car buying malarkey is HARD!

Just make sure you’re set and negotiate hard... it’s a buyers market at the moment

Yep. Given I'm away for a lot of August, I might just sit it out until the 68 plates come in and then see what bargains are around then

anything upto around 520bhp from circa 481 from factory ( depending on dyno ) isnt to be sniffed at.

Its also not just about the power, its the way it releases the power.
