Gah! can someone make this day go quicker please?!

Picking up my 1st MB tomorrow and i just can't wait any longer!!! Waiting for the dealer to call me back to arrange a time at the mo - sooo tempted to just phone him again and again until he makes himself available!!!!

Plans once i get her are:

1. use a full tank of petrol getting used to her
2. take my grandad out
3. sort bluetooth cradle out
4. get a personalised plate for her

so please, can someone make it tomorrow now???? :bannana:

Go to " forums" page at the bottom to "Archive "you will see every post that has been on the forum ,, find a topic that interest you, then when the garage ring for you to pick up your car, you will be to busy:):)

You aint gonna sleep tonight either...

Saves looking out the window every five minutes to see what it looks like on your drive:D a bit of curtain twichin

Whatever you do DO NOT put petrol into your new diesel car:eek:

If he does he will spend the first few days waiting for MB to drain and check the system and the next month trying to earn the money to pay them.

You should have asked for the manual to read, that will take you all evening.:D

Thats a good point Brian, I had my handbook 4 days before the car.
Though I can drive anything with ease, and nothing feminine about it, reading the manual enabled me to use all of the extras from the first few mins of owning it, and had the distronic turned on with the first mile

If you think today is dragging think how long tonight will last.

I saw a w204 sport in a pewtery colour this morning.
Looked fantastic.

I always get mine as soon as the new car is delivered to the dealer, especially the first time I had Sat-Nav Comand fitted, that book is definitely worth a long read.:D :D

no that should be: -;) ;)

"DIESEL"

Dont worry its now printed in BIG letters on the inside of your filler cap door... you'll spend a good 30 seconds wondering how the heck that opens..

Doesn't stop you picking up the wrong nozzle though.

First mod - replace BIG letters with BIG NEON letters on inside of filler cap;)

You WILL need to remind yourself to use the black pump, because MB diesels are sooo smooooth. As you will soon find out for yourself.

I have a routine (after putting 7p worth of petrol in my car the first time I used a pay at the pump station and my card didn't work, a queue was forming and I got in tizzy!):

I put the nozzle in the filler neck then step back and look at the diesel label in the fuel flap, then look at the diesel label on the (empty, as it's in the filler neck) nozzle holder, then start to fuel.
