Will this day ever end??? (Picking up 1st MB tomorrow)

Hadn't seen that - thanks very much!!!

The time has been nominated - 11am :D

Well, best leave early to allow plenty of time to get to the dealers - traffic might be heavy. And if you get there early, well, that's no hardship, is it!?

Amzing how MB produce manuals for their owners... only jesting:D

There is no danger of the wrong fuel going into your new shiny car.:)

Anyway, did you get COMAND and parking sensors, I seem to recall you were interested in these?

Can you tell us the spec your new car has?

Apologies if i've listed some things that come as standard...

3577 miles on the clock too on an 07 Plate. Came with 6 months tax and got my SAP Bluetooth cradle at cost price and a free MB Cup holder and Cup

The wife finishes work at 10 and she'll be knackered (she is a midwife and was on nights earlier in the week) so we'll probably go to bed as soon as she gets in - get up around 9.30 or 10 then head over to MB Direct (its about a 40 minute drive)

Woohoo!!! My new pride and joy is sat on the driveway :D Even got a CD changer and an iPod adapter that I wasn't expecting to get!!!

Pics up as soon as the weather gives me a break - have been tested by rain, hail and snow today!

First impressions of your new car?

Thinking of the performance aspects here. Have heard reports that it is far superior to the current W203. Is it just what you expected or surpassed your expectations?

I'm a very happy bunny so far. Very nice cruising on the motorway back from the dealer this morning and has been excellent fun on the winding country lanes of Shropshire. Had a brief play with tiptronic etc and have been relieved to see that it is clever enough to shift down for me rather than labour the engine.

Took the scenic route to see my Grandad this afternoon over the hills through Much Wenlock - got stuck behind a LR Discovery towing a caravan. Was very happy with the cars ability to nip ahead in a safe gap - my corolla's safe gap would have been about twice as large!

I knew it was going to be fun to drive, but i think its even better than i expected!!!

Sounds fantastic!! Bet the grin on your face is enormous. Looking forward to the pics

Got to pick the wife up from work in a few minutes - how terrible :)
