Hi Folks

The plan for the 9th November will be to meet up at Castle Howard between 9.30 and 10.00. The Courtyard Cafe opens at 10.00 but service can be a bit slow so I’d suggest being in there early as will need to leave by 11.15 for the 50 miles to The Lion Inn. We won’t be passing any filling stations so please make sure you’re fuelled up. We should arrive at The Lion Inn around 12.45 to get drinks and be seated to eat at 1.00pm.

The route is above and doesn’t have many junctions so we should be able to keep everyone together.

Fingers crossed the weather is good for us , it was glorious last week when I drove the route.

Hope everyone is OK for tomorrow? I’ve checked the route to The Lion Inn and can’t see any closures or issues due to the heavy rain we’ve had. If anyone knows of problems along the route any information would be much appreciated.

Just arrived at castle Howard had a battle with fog and extremely frosty roads that got better and better the closer I go to the castle
