Have You Seen Any Interesting Cars On The Road Lately?

So THAT's why Panther are so strongly connected to that bit of Surrey. (I knew two Lima owners who lived in that area)
You learn something every day.

IIRC after being based at the lockup in Walton they moved to Byfleet and then Brooklands (both near Weybridge).

Not on the road, and not a car, but other than that:

Obscure factoid: there is a Mercedes connection.
I was noodling about the web, as this picture reminded me that my B-I-L regularly drove an MK (the military version) during his stint in the services.
The MB connection is that apparently the TK was built under licence in Turkey by a company called Genoto, who fitted it with an MB OM352 5.7 litre lump as used in the Unimog

Bet no one else on here has seen one of these recently.?
I don't think I've seen one for at least 30 years.! - I would have expected them all to have rusted away to dust by now, but no. This was a rust free example, and very well prepared imho.
Talking to the owner, he's going to sell it as his wife "won't even get in it these days"..

Always been my dream Alfa (T33 Stradale aside!). There's quite a few still about, though good ones command quite strong money these days. There are some i see regularly at the Surrey section of the Alfa owners club. For the ultimate version have at look at the Alfaholics GTA-R:

,, or alternatively because DVLA have it showing as being yellow in colour, and that is there as a nod to the legitimacy of that statement.?

I would guess it was in the desert scheme at some point, but your explanation makes a lot of sense :D
