No idea, but according to their website, they build engines up to just short of 2 L. And you can probably reckon their own Bus has something a bit special in it.

Last night for many miles on the M5 northbound I travelled either a few cars behind or a few cars ahead of an S212 E 63 AMG (estate) in what appeared to be a Designo finish, possibly Magno Allanite Grey.

I was thinking the same but I don’t know if they were standard on some variants of the Monte Carlo.

Edit, just had a quick look around on the web and can’t find anything but it might have had some ‘work’.

I like it though.

..I saw one just like this on the IOW last week....same colour. ALFA Montreal ..lovely looking thing.....and a tiny and beasutiful 2.6 L V8. Rare and expensive.


The original Tipo race engine this was based on was an even smaller 2.0L V8! This is the 2.6 road version...
