Have You Seen Any Interesting Cars On The Road Lately?

..I saw one just like this on the IOW last week....same colour. ALFA Montreal ..lovely looking thing.....and a tiny and beasutiful 2.6 L V8. Rare and expensive.

The original Tipo race engine this was based on was an even smaller 2.0L V8! This is the 2.6 road version...

That always was a lovely looking car. It seems to have got better with age.

Do like a Montreal. The concept was supposed to be a rear/mid engined layout hence the “cooling” ducts behind the C pillar (or is that B pillar?) but I read at the Alfa museum that due to costs and time a conventional front layout was used. Also used SPICA fuel injection. That 2.0 V8 appears in my fave road car of all time - the T33 Stradale.

Proper chrome bumper BGT, not sure if it's even better and V8. I grew up in Orpington with an indie converting MGB's to V8 in Green St Green before BL cut off the supply of engines then came out themselves with the BV8! The white thing - what is it, not interesting at all!

Not a V8 I'm afraid! It was one of my brother's pair (one hardtop one convertible). Both sold now as he's moved abroad.

He would not remember me, it was probably best part of 30 years ago!
