Have You Seen Any Interesting Cars On The Road Lately?

Lol.... nice but, as you probably know, they never built a Lotus Carlton estate.... Nice effort though.

I saw quite a few special and some very special cars at Donington Park today, and only a few were transported (cars for sale).

Countless Porsche including GT4, GT3 and GT3 RS; umpteen McLaren including 600 LT, 675 LT and 720S; herd of Lamborghini including Huracan Sterrato, Diablo SV, Aventador SVJ; and harras of Ferrari including 296, SF90, and Purosangue.

Some of the even more special cars included a full exposed carbon Pagani Huayra Roadster, Ferrari Daytona SP3, Ferrari F40, Ferrari Enzo, Bugatti Veyron, full exposed carbon Bugatti Veyron Vitesse, Bugatti Divo, McLaren Senna, and McLaren P1.

WOW.!!!!
Imagine though, turning up at the event with your "pride & joy exoticar" that gets envious looks everywhere you take it, and suddenly a 675lt is just part of the background. "Big fish, little sea,,,," effect...

Were any of them putting in some proper laptimes, or were they all just there to look stunning.?

It was just a coffee morning. Unfortunately there was frost, black ice and fog this morning, so you couldn’t safely get the tyres up to temperature.

Just out of shot.........the awesome Smart ForFour AMG Black Series Night Edition Premium Plus 125 Powered by Brabus
The organiser said that it was causing embarrassment to the hypercar owners - because they knew that they wouldn’t stand a chance in a drag race, lap of the track or Vmax run - and so I had to park it out of shot.

On my back from the annual Alfa owners club Surrey section lunch yesterday i was followed by a white Maserati MC20. I have to say im not a huge fan of a lot of modern supercars but this did look nice, quite devoid of frippery. I couldn't really hear it over the sound mine was making but seems like they have a nice V6.

That must have been a memorable lunch to be travelling back the next day! 😁
