Have You Seen Any Interesting Cars On The Road Lately?

I’m cheating as I haven’t seen one though I did drive past Gaydon at the weekend where they have one! What a cool thing and I would say not bad value for what it is. Reminds me a bit of the Alfa 33 Stradale which is no bad thing. I wonder how many other obscurati are out there I know nothing about!

Something - I don't know what - very small and old. I'd have guessed Austin Seven but for it being a cabriolet but without any sporting pretensions - no more than a small saloon without a roof.. From around that period and similarly sized on wire wheels climbing the long hill out of Keith. Easily the oldest car I've seen on the road for an age and the most surprising thing was its speed. As fast up the hill as many modern cars drive it.

Funnily enough there's an Austin 7 type thing (normal saloon) somewhere near us that goes like the clappers and sounds pretty sporty. I passed it going in the opposite direction yesterday, about 2 miles from home. Looks pretty standard apart from slightly wider tyres.

There's also a Morris Minor around here that seems to go like a scalded cat, very plain looking apart from having wider tyres again. I wonder if they're owned by the same person.

5 unregistered ones were recently found in a shipping container in IIRC Taiwan or HK, bought by someone for about 3/4million$ by an American billionair! More money than sense??

Which car, the Tesla Roadster?

Yes! 5 of the damned things, all brand new never registered and sat in shipping container(s) for years! Report suggested they may all end up as museum/display items in USA.

Careful Delboy, don't want Sarah interested in a hearse, she's too precious on here!!:D:D

Beautiful - always fancied one of those. A recent restoration I think as a check on the reg. shows it as being silver!

Of course the coupe version pre-dated the modern 'invention' of the 4-door coupe (CLS and others) by many decades!
