Have You Seen Any Interesting Cars On The Road Lately?

Get a good one and they're a fine car, the problem is finding a good one 🤣
I do rather like big old Rovers, a Vitesse would be rather nice. Unfortunately Mrs D wouldn’t let that one through 😀

Love those....there were couple at the recent SADCASE meet...one at 797 horse (slight tune from the stock 707 of the Redeye model to equal the latest spec) and one at 807 horse....the stock power on a Final Edition model called the Jailbreak Edition...Final Call"!! making the it the Worlds most powerful mass produced car....so they claim.....only in America!!!! Vey sad that there will be no more Charger V8 models.

They both sounded amazing!!

Not sure what it was, but (in the brief moments whist it passed me) it looked & sounded rather lovely.

Sorry about the poor image angle, but by the time I had grabbed my phone & switched it to camera,,,,,,,,

That's an SS100 replica.

1930's Swallow Sidecar, the predecessor to Jaguar.

They appear to be significantly better than the 6-pot Charger I rented during my last trip to the States immediately before Covid. Thankfully I never had the need to pull the skin off any rice puddings - I’m sure it would have failed.

They are not too bad....3.6-liter V6 with 300 horsepower and 264 pound-feet of torque and a 0 to 60 in 6 dead is not too shabby in my books.....only blunted by being nearly 1900kg!......but who would want a Charger with no V8!!??

That’s the one I had. Perhaps the brakes were binding because it felt like half the power of my 306 bhp C350. (Or does horsepower work the same way as decibels and a difference if 6 is mahoosive?)

You’ve blooming got me looking at blooming Middlebridge Scimitars for blooming sale on-blooming-line now blooming Mikey.

Poor blooming timing it is too as I’ve already blooming paid a blooming deposit on another blooming car earlier today 👀

Mrs blooming D isn’t showing much love for the Scinitar. To be fair she never does but this is bad, I’ve never seen so many 🤮 emoji's.

I’ll have to work on her…
What are you like! LOL How many cars in the stable now?

I might share this one but I’ll wait until I collect it and I’m sure it’s as good as I hope it is - I bought it unseen. It won’t be a big surprise to some, and there might be a subtle clue al-blooming-ready 😉

Oooh I like that. I do like a shooting brake, especially coachbuilt cars.
I happened t see a few factory shooting brakes today including a Reliant Scimitar and Volvo 480 ES - I can’t think for the life of me what the third one was 🤔
Perhaps?

I had an 827 Vitesse for a number of years, lovely V6 Honda engine, loved that car but got badgered by SWMBO into selling it as she was worried about the approaching 6 figure mileage, despite the fact that the car was running beautifully, was very comfortable and economic. PX'd it for an 820 Turbo - bloody torque steer when the turbo kicked in was bad, nearly crashed into a parked car within 30 seconds of starting the test drive! Dropped £8k when I PX'd it within a year for the 968 coupe, 6 months later new owner wanted me to contribute to the cost of the head gasket failure!! In Glaswegian, I told him "YCFROJ"!! (You Can Jimmy!)
