I just put that into googlemaps and it has me going all over the place, but 50 minutes journey from Rochdale.

Next month it will be from Lancaster, googlemaps reckons an hour and 6 minutes. I won't be home from work until 6:45-7pm so it's going to be 8pm arrival for me probably.

Would like to have come along for this one, but I don't have my car at the moment, just a loaner A6 Avant whilst mine is having some engine problems sorted. But I will put it in my diary for September.

rochdale is about 45 mins but Lancaster is only about the same

Yeah, afraid so. the 300E-24 has headgasket issues. I guess its through lack of use as its only done 100 miles in the past 3 years. Its all tucked up in the garage ready to have a load of money thrown at it over winter to make it concourse.

Has anyone got this months merc enthusiast? Theres a good article on a 300e-24 with the same miles as mine.
